We us a state-of-the-art raised floored datacentre in Stratford, London. The facility offers complete redundancy in protected power, HVAC, fire suppression, network connectivity and on-site manned security. The facility takes power feeds from multiple power grids, distributed via N+1 MGE UPS battery backup power and three 2.5 MVA Caterpillar diesel generators to backup primary power source with 48-hour on-site fuel storage supported by continuous refuelling contracts. Ensuring your web site is available and online is our top priority which is why we use hardware RAID disk mirroring on our web servers providing data redundancy. In the event of a hard drive failure no data is lost and your site remains online, this prevents hours of potential downtime.

Server Backups

We understand that your data is important to you, which is why we perform two daily backups of your data.

The first backup that we take is a copy of your account and is stored on the web server. We use this backup in the event of a you needing your site/file(s) restoring should you accidentally delete a file in error.

The second backup performed is stored on a separate backup server, this backup is for use in the event of a total web server failure i.e. a RAID array failing beyond repair. This server backup can be used to restore the full server to a fresh machine to restore service as soon as possible.
